Feeling kind of sad tonight 😢
After living here almost 4 years with my chickens and letting them free range in the afternoons to be happy ladies, I went to feed tonight and a fox came to my barn at 2 in the afternoon and killed several of my girls and injuring a few others. I don’t like to harm wildlife, but we may need to, to keep my animals safe.
Hard to see, but right hand corner and that’s up under the shelter of the barn next to my donkeys.

I think our little goat has been practicing herding from our Australian Shepherd. Look at him go! We’re up to 3 pounds now!

Little sparky a hard start to life, mom rejected him from the start, so I had to take a crash course in bottle feeding! But it wasn’t going good so had to call vet Dr Blackman. Had to get some shots and be tube fed.here we are 6 days later and he’s doing well.
