OH MY GOODNESS! Have we got a treat for you tomorrow!!

It is our first ever "Harvest & Horsepower" get together. If you have a car, truck or motorcycle that is your pride and joy, get her all shined up and pretty. Bring them to the Forsyth Mo Farmers and Artisans Market - Local Harvest tomorrow morning at 8:00 to share and talk about your "baby" with other like-minded car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts.

This is not a competition. There is no entry fee. It's just pure fun to drive out to The Market and let people wish they'd never gotten rid of that '57 Hardtop Chevy, GTO, and the list goes on.

You will be in the nice grassy area over by Great Escapes. We are planning on having the Harvest and Horsepower event every 3rd Saturday thru the summer and into fall.

Charlene W Graham will be there to show you where to set up. It is going to be a beautiful day!!

Are you ready for your Wednesday afternoon "FARM"ers Market Report from the Forsyth Mo Farmers and Artisans Market - Local Harvest ? How do you like that little play on words? Of course, pun was intended. Ok, enough of all this frivolity! We have great vendors here today so let's get started.

First we have Miss Julia with her plants and sourdough bread.

Next is Brian with Castle Rock Farm bringing his wonderful farm-raised chickens, along with fresh chicken and quail eggs.

Next is Miss Cassandra with Pettibon Farm bringing beautiful and tasty Amish Grown Veggies, PLUS Sweet Corn. You don't want to miss out on this.

We have Miss Dawana with her handmade bags and gift towels.

Next is Brandon with Kissee Mills Candy & BBQ Company bringing El Capitan Seedless striped watermelons, seedless Black Gem watermelons, AND good 'ole Georgia Peaches! He is also serving everyone's favorite cold sandwiches.

We have Miss Wanda with her handmade bags and totes. I believe she has a 50% off bin.

Last but not least, we have Roger Fortner with his books and RV stuff.

Come on out and pay these vendors a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Sometimes you know when you've done somethin' right. Today was one of those times. Originally, we had canceled the Forsyth Mo Farmers and Artisans Market - Local Harvest for today due to some severe weather predicted to arrive early this morning. As of 11:00 p.m. last night all that changed.

At 6:00 a.m. we decided to be open. Vendors were contacted and a post was put on Facebook. We opened a little after 9. We didn't have the normal amount of vendors but our community showed up and supported the vendors that were there.

That's one of the many reasons I love our communities and its spirit.

Thank you Taney County people for supporting our Farmers Market.

Next weekend I hear that Saturday is going to be beautiful. Of course that could be subject to change.🤣🤣

Well, this will teach me to not listen to the weatherman. My father used to say, "Just look out the window. That's how the weatherman does it." I shouldn't be so harsh.

Anyway, the Forsyth Mo Farmers and Artisans Market - Local Harvest IS OPEN TODAY!!

Looks like all storms/rain is holding off until 1:00 or so.

We are planning on opening around 9:00. Come out and support our vendors. You can't get more local than our Farmers and Artisans Market!!

Well, Mother Nature may have won this one. We have a forecast for tomorrow that is worrisome. Rain, thunder, lightning and high winds do not mix well with a Forsyth Mo Farmers and Artisans Market - Local Harvest. I think Michelle Von Deck with Hilltop Hacienda LLC did a great job on the flyer!!

We'll see everyone next Saturday, June 20th 8a.m. to 2p.m.
