Good morning! I wanted to make a post and let everyone know that I have organically-fed, pasture raised chickens and pork available. 🐓🐖☀️🌱

Chickens are whole birds, wrapped and frozen. $5/lb

For pork I only have steaks and chops left. $5/lb

Regenerating soil naturally takes time, patients, and a lot of 💩!

Everyday these cattle get a new spot to “mob graze.” This grazing technique keeps parasites away from the cattle, keeps the weeds at a minimal, and gives the grass time to rest and recover after being grazed down. I like to let the cattle pick their own food and spread their own 💩! Less work for me and it’s healthier for the cattle/pasture.

The chickens also get moved everyday so that they stay clean and so their manure doesn’t burn the vegetation. I like to focus my chickens on the less vigorous grassy patches to give that grass a little boost. Chicken 💩 is like a super food for the pasture but the chickens can only visit one spot per year otherwise that spot might die out.

Successfully turned over the pumpkin/corn patch. I have to admit that it was my first time tilling ANYTHING in my life. Tomorrow we will throw the seeds in the ground and hope for the best! 🌽🥦🍅🎃

1/3 of the birds are out of the brooder and on grass.

This is where they want to be and grow the best.

I move them daily to keep them clean and to give them fresh greens to munch on throughout the day.

Three week size difference! So excited to get the big nuggets out on pasture next week.
