We have eggs available as well as chorizo goat sausage, who’s ready for breakfast?

We have ground chicken available and I can personally guarantee that it’s 100% chicken with no added hormones, antibiotics or any other modifications.

For everyone who asked, we will have more strawberries next week hopefully Thursday, but if not for sure on Friday. Also goats milk will be available week after next if all goes well. I’ll keep y’all advised on both.

Our new hours start tomorrow 1:00 to 5:00 and as always if you need anything after closing hours feel free to contact me.

We have more Arkansas strawberries available starting tomorrow. Laurie is threatening to do some chocolate covered strawberries so we’ll see.

I’m picking up the chicken I had processed last week tomorrow so we’ll have chicken breast and ground chicken when we open tomorrow at 1:00.

Laurie is baking as I’m writing this so there will be some sweets available and I plan on making some candy when she’s finished.

A little farm update!
We did have another pig farrow last night or early this morning. Fancy had 5, 4 boars and 1 gilt. Mom and piglets are doing fine.
One of our goats, Hello Darlin, sounded in distress this morning and sure enough she was kidding and one was stuck! I had to pull it and it was a huge buckling. Not sure how long he was stuck, but he only lived for a few minutes after I was able to get him out. After that she had a little doeling that is healthy. It’s been another chaotic day on the farm, but that’s part of it.

I have to throw a big shoutout to my favorite farm hand and better half, Laurie. She helped me load the pigs yesterday evening to take to the processor today. It’s never fun, but yesterday it was extremely difficult so I had to ask for help. After 3 hours of catching, dragging, catching again after they escape, and working through a thunderstorm we got them both in the trailer.
That being said we’ll have more sausage available in a couple of weeks. We should have chicken breast this Thursday along with ground chicken, that’s a new item for us.
We will also have more Arkansas strawberries this week starting Thursday.

I’ll keep y’all updated on the goat milk, it should be available in another couple of weeks.

Thanks to everyone who stops by or little market, it’s truly a blessing to meet so many nice folks.

We will be open tomorrow from 12:00 till 5:30. Saturday will we be open from 9:00 till 12:00 (noon) and closed on Sunday to spend time with family this Easter weekend.

A beautiful weekend ahead which means it’s time to stoke up the grill or smoker for some delicious meats. We have what you need! Although our steaks are limited we do have plenty of grass fed ground beef, ground brisket, and brats available. We have whole chickens and leg quarters that are made for grilling and smoking. A one pound pack of pork belly would taste delicious or make some awesome burnt ends. What we lack in beef steaks we can make up with goat steaks and also goat chops, speaking of. I always have people ask me what goat tastes like and I have to tell them I don’t know, well we’re having goat chops for supper today so I’ll let y’all know.

We have plenty of eggs, but the goats still haven’t kidded yet so no goat milk for a while. Looks like it may be the first week or two in May.

Laurie has been baking the last couple of days and is baking her famous yeast rolls as I’m typing. We have a new cake available and it’s delicious, White Velvet Cake. I made more candy and I have to say these Scotcharoos are addictive. It’s one of the best candies I’ve ever made. I believe it could put Reese’s out of business if I were to mass produce them.

We are open today till 5:00 and 1:00 to 4:00 tomorrow. Y’all enjoy this beautiful weather and God Bless!
