We want to share a story about someone who helped us grow. Laura Brehm wasn’t just a friend—she was one of the quiet founders of Desert Pearl Mushrooms. Through her business, Laura’s Locals, she supported small farms and connected local food to the people who needed it most.

Thanks to her guidance and friendship, we grew from a backyard setup to a full warehouse—and we carry her influence with us every day.

Laura passed away on July 2. We are heartbroken by her loss and forever grateful for everything she gave us. We love you, Laura. You’ll always be in our hearts. 🤍🕊️

We lost a dear friend and quiet founder of our farm. Laura, thank you for everything. We miss you. 🤍🕊️
