Real change…

Promotores de Esperanza: Went from hustlin’ dope to hustlin’ HOPE ~Now we’re creating pathways to healing, recovery, growth and opportunity. Promotores de Esperanza (PDE), which translates to “Promoters of Hope,” is more thana name—it is a movement, a mission, and a testament to the strength of community. Born out of necessity, resilience, and love, PDE was created to confront the pr

ofound health disparities and systemic barriers affecting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Peopleof Color) communities. Our story is rooted in lived experience, shaped by grassroots action, and continually strengthened through cultural wisdom, community collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to justice.PDE was founded from a lived understanding of trauma, substance use, incarceration, poverty, and the healing power of connection. The Founder and Executive Director—a BIPOC woman with firsthand experience navigating many of the same systems and challenges faced by community members today—witnessed the devastating impacts ofracialized systems of oppression and the ways culturally disconnected services failed to support those most affected. Traditional models of care often overlook the social, cultural, and historical contexts that shape people’s lives, including unresolved trauma. Reflecting this lived-expertise foundation, the majority of PDE’s team members alsohave experience with justice involvement and/or substance use and recovery. Their perspectives offer invaluable insight and tangible proof that healing and recovery are not only possible but attainable.

🚧 COMMUNITY PARTNERS — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚧

Promotores de Esperanza is seeking a business, warehouse, construction company, or community partner willing to loan us a forklift on Wednesday afternoons so we can continue providing FREE forklift certification and workforce development trainings to our community.

Every week, we work alongside individuals returning from incarceration, people experiencing homelessness, low-income families, and those in recovery from substance use challenges. These trainings provide more than a certification—they provide hope, confidence, dignity, and a pathway to stable employment.
To date we have trained hundreds of individuals, helped them get back to work and provided employment retention services.

A forklift loan for just a few hours on or two Wednesday each month could help community members gain hands-on experience, earn industry-recognized credentials, and move one step closer to meaningful employment.

Do you have a forklift you can loan or know someone who does? We’d love to connect!

We’ve been busy these last few weeks at Promotores de Esperanza! 💙

From implementing services at our new Commerce City office, to standing alongside community members at rallies, workforce trainings, violence interruption, resource fairs, conducting outreach, overdose education presentations, fundraisers, supporting recovery journeys, and even lending a hand to our elders with landscaping and neighborhood beautification—our team has been putting in the work.

Every day we are reminded that service comes in many forms. Whether it’s connecting someone to resources, offering a listening ear, providing workforce opportunities, supporting healing, or helping an elder maintain their home, it all matters.

We are proud to be rooted in community and committed to showing up where we are needed most. Countless souls are benefiting from the heart work our team pours into this mission every single day.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, partners, and community members who continue to walk alongside us. Together, we’re building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

❤️ From hustlin’ dope to healing communities.

✨🖤❤️💚 Celebrating Juneteenth: Freedom, Excellence, and Community ❤️💚🖤✨

Promotores de Esperanza is honored to join our friends at Mo' Betta Green MarketPlace as we celebrate Juneteenth—a powerful day of remembrance, resilience, liberation, joy, and the ongoing journey of freeing ourselves from the mental, social, and systemic barriers that limit our full potential.

Join us as we honor the legacy of those who came before us and celebrate the beauty, strength, creativity, and contributions of Black communities. 👏🏾 👏🏿👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿👏🏽👏🏿
This weekend is put together with so much love so that we can share space in commUNITY and uplift Black excellence, Black beauty, Black culture, Black businesses, and the generations of leaders, healers, artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who continue to shape our future.

As we celebrate freedom, we also recognize the importance of rejecting narratives that diminish our worth and embracing the power to define ourselves, our communities, and our destiny. Juneteenth reminds us that liberation is both a historical achievement and an ongoing commitment to self-determination, healing, and collective empowerment.

Stop by our table to connect, learn about our services, and celebrate alongside community members committed to healing, empowerment, and unity.

Together we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a future rooted in freedom, opportunity, justice, and love.
