🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF ALLEN BENSON 🕊️
It is with heavy hearts that the Promotores de Esperanza (PDE) family shares the passing of our friend, colleague, and brother in service, Allen Benson.
Allen was more than a member of our team. He was a gentle soul, a peer, a mentor, and a man who believed in the dignity and worth of every person who walked through our doors.
With more than 30 years of lived experience, Allen understood that our experiences do not have to define our limitations—they can become the very tools we use to reach, encourage, and uplift someone else.
He showed up. He listened. He did not judge. He treated people with dignity, respect, compassion, and kindness.
We invite our friends, participants, partners, families, and community to join us for a Memorial BBQ Potluck as we gather to remember Allen, share stories, celebrate his life, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Come as you are. Bring a dish if you are able, bring a memory if you have one, and most importantly, bring your heart as we celebrate a beautiful soul who spent so much of his life showing up for others.

Your physical presence will be deeply missed, but your spirit, your lessons, and the lives you touched will remain part of Promotores de Esperanza and the work we continue to do.
Rest peacefully, Allen. You will be missed immensely, but never forgotten. 🕊️❤️
