I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say, “Nobody makes pound cake like Grandma used to.”

And honestly, I understand.

There is something special about a homemade pound cake—the smell, the texture, the memories that come with it.

That’s part of the reason I created Mama’s Touch Pound Cake Mix. I wanted to make it easier for people to create those moments at home without having to measure out a long list of dry ingredients.

This is the same recipe that helped build Dessert Essentials, and it still makes me smile every time I pull one out of the oven.

Yeah… we came prepared this week.

From vanilla pound cake and banana pudding to lavender lattes, sparkling teas, muffins, cookies, and refreshers… there’s a little something for everybody this weekend.

And judging by the last clip, the banana pudding might be the winner.

At some point, we all realized the real horror story was an adult social life.

There was something really special about this moment.

Watching a mother and daughter spend intentional time together, create side by side, laugh, learn something new, celebrate a birthday, and simply enjoy each other’s presence reminded us why experiences like this matter.

From cake decorating and mocktails to skincare and conversation, this day became more than just an event. It became a memory.

Thank you for trusting us to be a part of such a meaningful moment.

And yes… she really did love the mocktail.

Lately, God has been showing me that people are craving more than surface-level connection.

People want community.
People want to feel seen.
People want spaces where they can breathe, create, heal, laugh, talk, and simply exist without pressure.

What started as cake decorating has turned into conversations, encouragement, fellowship, and moments that remind people they are not alone.

I do not fully know everything God is building yet, but I know it is deeper than dessert.

And I am grateful that He continues to bring the right people into this space at the right time.
