If you’ve followed GoodShipp Alpaca Co. for a while, you may have noticed something about our animals… I have a habit of naming the crew after some of my all-time favorites ❤️

And this handsome little gentleman is no exception.

Please meet Dr. Frank N Purrter, also known around the farm as Tim Purry. our very own feline tribute to the one and only legendary Tim Curry! 🎭🐈‍⬛✨

Because honestly… when you have a cat with this much personality, Dr. Frank N Purrter just seemed like the obvious choice. And yes, the name is absolutely a nod to The Rocky Horror Picture Show 🫦🎭

Tim Curry has given us so many unforgettable characters, performances, and moments over the years, and I couldn’t resist giving one of our resident characters a name worthy of the legend.

So here’s to Frank N Purrterr aka Tim Purry, like his namesake, equal parts eccentric, dramatic, and mysterious.

And if you ever visit GoodShipp and hear someone say, “Where’s Dr. Frank N Purrter?", just know there’s probably a very important feline somewhere supervising the entire operation. 🐈‍⬛️

Looking for a birthday celebration that’s a little different from the usual party? Come celebrate on the farm with the alpacas! 🦙🤍🖤🤎🩶

Whether you’re celebrating a little one, a tween, or just looking for a fun and memorable way to mark a special day, a GoodShipp Alpaca Birthday Party brings together farm fun and plenty of alpaca smiles!

🎂 $150 for up to 8 guests
($10 for each additional guest)
1.5 hours total — 30 minutes for setup followed by a 1-hour farm visit.

✨ Suggested party flow;
🍰 Start with food, cake & treats
🦙 Then head out for a Meet & Treat with the alpacas
🧶 Want to add a little extra creativity? Add our Fiber Ball Activity for just $5 per person.

WE PROVIDE:
🪑 Tables & seating for food and gifts
🌾 Alpaca feed for the Meet & Treat
🗑️ Trash bins & cleanup/removal at the end of your event
🧶 Supplies for the fiber craft activity, if added
🦙 And, of course…THE ALPACAS!

🎂 (Ask us about our bakery friends! We have connections!)

🌅 Sometimes the best part of the day is simply slowing down🦙💛

There’s something pretty special about watching an alpaca peacefully graze while the sun settles behind Brooks Hill. Tonight, Cookie is reminding us that you don’t always need to rush to the next thing. Sometimes you just need a quiet pasture, a beautiful Kentucky sunset, and a little time to breathe. 🌾🌄

At GoodShipp Alpaca Co., we love sharing these peaceful moments with our community. Our farm is a place to slow down, meet the alpacas, learn about our slow-grown fiber, shop small, and enjoy a little bit of country life (and, how convenient, where better than just minutes south of the city of Louisville?!)

Come visit us during our open hours:

🤎 Sunday–Thursday: By appointment

You can message us to book a farm visit and come meet the herd up close! Appointments are just $5 per person and include alpaca feed.

Or consider stopping by during our regular open hours when no entry fee is required.

It hasnt even been 3 months... and we have another one...

Anyone else see whats ruining this lovely sunset?
Why are we even still using this trash to celebrate?

Heres a copy and paste for you...
Its 2026, we should be past this. I shouldn't have to make these posts: balloon releases are not a beautiful tribute, they are glorified littering.

Your balloons do not float off to heaven. They fall back to earth… into forests, rivers, fields, fences, and pastures. Wildlife and livestock often mistake balloon fragments and ribbons for food, leading to injury, suffering, and death.

If you want to honor someone you love, choose something that gives life instead of harming it. Plant a tree. Light a candle. Donate in their name. Share their story.

Love should leave a legacy, not trash scattered across the land.
