Our Coffee Vehicle series is a coffee-focused, rich and chocolatey porter that features some of the most talented roasters. We have highlighted local companies like Ritual, Andytown, Equator and Mother Tongue and recently we sourced beans from Heart in Portland. Now we are headed to the steamy South to infuse our beer with the most popular coffee roaster in the United States.

Introducing Coffee Vehicle: Folgers

Recently Folgers rebranded itself, openly taking great pride in being the every-person’s coffee further separating itself from the artisanal roasters that populate the Bay Area and elsewhere. Cellarmaker sees a lot to love in this message. We whole-heartedly support coffee being bland, watery and uninspired!

The people of craft beer can sometimes be seen as snobbish and pedantic so Folgers has inspired us to consider a new path forward for our little craft brewery. It is now the time to reimagine Cellarmaker in a new light.

With that said, we have an even greater announcement today – Coffee Vehicle: Folgers will be Cellarmaker’s last coffee beer release. In fact it will be the last release with much flavor at all. From this point on, Cellarmaker will become an exclusive Cream Ale brewery.

So we ask you, who is ready to close down their Huckberry account, donate your Arc’teryx jacket and Topo Design shoulder bag and sign up to be part of the ?
