I’m going to go ahead and say it..

You can have all of the knowledge, buy all of the paraphernalia, donate all of your money and repost all of the horrifying statistics to save the children, you can even save them yourself.... You can hop on every noble bandwagon, but if you (and I say this as lovingly as possible), if you are still lining the pockets of Hollywood by indulging in their movies, shows, and music, you find yourself in the midst of hypocrisy and those children are being bought and brutalized with your dollar.

If you really do want to save the children, take a stand and stop taking pleasure in the ones who are procuring their (and your) death.

“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32

Let your children see you pray.
Let them see you cry out to the living God.
Let them see you dance with joy.
Let them see you repent when you get it wrong.
Let them see you stand in faith for the impossible.
Let them see you pore through the scriptures.
Let them see you pray.

Be the first example to your daughters what a praying woman looks like and set the bar for your sons to know what to look for in a wife someday.

Do not hide this beautiful and important part of your relationship with God. Let them see you fragile and strong. Let them see you pray.

From the moment I committed my life to the Lord, I understood that I had a responsibility to continue walking with Him and staying connected to Him in order to continue in my salvation.. I had no clue that “once saved, always saved” was even a hot button topic in the Christian world until just a couple of years ago. Definitely worth a watch if you’ve ever wondered whether or not you can “lose” your salvation (I’d probably use a different term than “lose” as it implies it can be accidental.) Anyway, this man lays it out very humbly and clearly ❤️ God’s Word is very clear on this topic.

Hi Friends,

When my second child was born, I made the tough decision to hang up my photography hat so I could be the best mom I could be.. And honestly, I'm sure most of the photographic creativity I had went skipping off hand-in-hand with my precious, precious sleep after becoming a mom 😂😭)

The past few years have been very transformative for me in my walk with God and I will be transitioning this page to a place where I will be sharing about faith, family, travel, and a few recipes sprinkled in for good measure 😉 I hope you'll stay and follow along! 💕

Many times, we dream of the day God calls us to the mission field or gives us a big, important job to do. We think, “then things will be different.” However, the most important job we’ll ever do is to
live
faithfully
in
the
mundane.

The day in, day out routines. The to and from work. The changing 485572 diapers a day. The times we don’t “feel” it.

Especially the times the warm fuzzies have long left the building and cold, hard reality is staring you in the face with seemingly greener grass in your peripherals..

A husband or wife is not stamped faithful on the first date. Only after years of steadfast, unwavering commitment can one be determined faithful. It is not something you can BE. It is only something you BECOME at the end of a long, long road.

It is no different with God. Actually, it is different. He is perfect and always will be. If there’s ever someone to stay faithful to, it’s God.

Stay the course, friend. 🛤
