We made it through all of January 2021 (finally) and these buttercup babes are coming out to play in this next new month of love ♥️

I don’t usually “look forward to Fridays” or just getting through a month, but February has a very special place in my heart.

February is the month I found my savior, Jesus Christ. It’s when my whole life changed forever and I am finally saved because of His grace. He took the pressure and burdens of being a “small business owner” off of my shoulders and gave me real purpose in life. He gave me the fulfillment “owning my own business” could and would never be able to give me.

February is also the month I got married to the man who challenges me to be a happier, kinder, and gentler person ... to myself and others. He supports me when I’m right and gives me the cold hard truth when I’m not. I also got to secure my free graphic designs and website for life from him 🙃

Although this is not my personal account, I thought I would share with you what the mom of these chocolates is going through in this new month.

Anyway, that’s enough about me. Look at these buttercup babies! They are so photogenic and love the camera 🥰

Did you know that we make our own pumpkin spice mix by hand grating whole nutmegs and grinding down fresh cloves? It’s fall time in your mouth here at using fresh, organic ingredients.

We are sharing them this weekend when we carve pumpkins and sip on apple cider 🎃

Ok, ok, ok ⚡️You know our chocolates are still on hold due to the post office delays 💔, but I just can’t just stop eating our Canelé chocolates! I know it may sound like a sales line, but P + I literally have dessert after dinner every night 🙈. Now, to answer some of the questions we have received about when our chocolates will be back, we don’t have an exact date yet, but I am thinking things may go back after election season is over 🤷‍♀️. Until then, we are still pumping out chocolates for pick ups and local deliveries (Los Angeles & Orange County areas).

If you’d like to place an order for pick up or delivery, we’ll have to go old school and ask you to email us what you’d like. Our wellness bites are still available for shipping out and our newest product will be launching soon!

Whenever I’m packing up boxes to ship out I always wonder if on the receiving end there is just as much excitement as there is on my end 🤔. These cute little wellness bites travel safely in their boxes just waiting to be eaten.

💭Did you know ... Our bites are hand rolled with my own two hands! When I say they are made with 💕 , they really are ☺️. According to our recordings, it takes approximately 10 mins to mix up one batch recipe, ✌️seconds to scoop, 4️⃣ seconds to hand roll into a ⭕️, then 3️⃣ seconds to roll it into its crumb coating.They then get dropped into their trays, sealed up and shipped off!

Now, how can a machine give so much love?

It’s the last day to order our Maca Birthday Cake Wellness Bites. Oh boy! September felt like it lasted a few months, but I didn’t mind because these bites kept me celebrating our birthday month! If you haven’t already ordered our birthday cake bites, make sure to place your order before it turns into October. Our new flavor of the month will be taking its place tomorrow 🎃

For the last few months I have been working on our caramels. We make our own and use it in our chocolates. Throughout the last couple of years, we have gotten requests on selling it by the jar. We tried it for a couple of months just to test it and see how it would do and we got some good feedback, so we thought we would put more effort into it and launch them later this year.

When we were ready to try them again, there were only a few requirements we set for it:

✅ It must be made with without the use of refined sugars (the way traditional caramel is made)
✅ It has to be delicious and made with simple, good quality ingredients
✅It should make you want to spread and drizzle it over everything you eat

In these last few days of final testing, I believe I have hit every single one of those requirements! This week we will be giving some samples to friends to try for some honest feedback. I’m so excited to hear what the verdict is.

We plan to launch these caramels in October just in time for all of the upcoming holidays. They will be up on our site and ready for purchase in a couple of weeks!

In the article, we talk about Canelé & also our newest adventure together ! It’s funny how it turned into a new business adventure because it was a tool that Percy created to help Canelé, but it really is something so useful for all types of manufacturers.

Happy Friday! 🎉We are celebrating the weekend with our Maca Birthday Cake wellness bites! These bites have a malted vanilla-y flavor and are a perfect addition to any weekend!

We’re on a maca root kick this month with our flavor of the month so we thought we’d bring back our Strawberry Maca Lemonade Wellness Bite to fill up these beautiful boxes. This is a special order we have with this particular partner, but it’s so nice to see this bright pink ball in our boxes! Both the color and strawberry flavor comes from dried strawberries alone. It’s magic what real foods can look and taste like!

Sometimes Tuesdays look like a good book, a cozy blanket, and a snack made up of speculoos buttercups, the last of Summer peaches, and Banana Bread puffs.

Although we have paused our chocolate boxes on our site, we are offering them to our wholesale partners. With the post office delays and the warm temperatures here in Southern CA, we aren’t able to guarantee your chocolate gift boxes will get to you in a timely manner. Because of this unfortunate set back, we have officially decided to put a hold on our chocolates for retail purchase. We are planning on bringing them back this holiday season. We will also be bringing back our holiday assorted box along with some new Canelé treats. Keep your eyes peeled for some delicious treats in jars this upcoming Fall season! 🍁 🎃 🦃🎄 🕎

Our Flavor of the month is Maca Birthday cake! 🎂 Maca is another adaptogen superfood we have been talking about here. It comes in the form of a root that looks like a tan colored beetroot. Maca is a potent super root that has been used to help increase libido and fertility (especially in men), reduce blood pressure, and also improve mood. When our bodies face stress, the balance is off and it doesn’t function the way it should. Adaptogens help the body “adapt” to these sorts of stressors.

We are proud to source our maca directly from Peru. It is vegan, organic, kosher, and non GMO verified.

As a reminder, in light of the west coast fires going on, this week we are donating $10 for each order of wellness bites sold. We have already donated to a handful of organizations who have made an impression on our hearts. Please consider donating to help our neighbors, no matter where you live, in this time of need even if you don’t purchase wellness bites from us!
