Thank you for all of the concern and well wishes regarding the loss of our family homestead. Above all, we are so blessed that everyone involved is safe and sound. While we mourn the sentimental and physical loss of a site that's held so much history, not only for our family but for the surrounding community, we know that the memories made here remain in the hearts of those who've shared them. We look forward to brighter days on the farm and making sure the future generations know just how special this place was.

Thank you for representing us well, Jake!

Jake Raburn has been named president of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association (FSGA).

He was nominated and confirmed by the FSGA Board of Directors. Most recently the FSAGA vice president, Raburn replaces outgoing president Tres McQuaig and will serve at the discretion of the FSGA Board of Directors.

All 17 FSGA board members serve in volunteer capacities. As FSGA President, Raburn will also head the Florida Strawberry Patent Service (FSPS) and Florida Strawberry Research and Education Foundation (FSREF).
