Freedom Horse Farm has been serving its clients since 2007. We are proud of where we started from and developed into. So many have passed thru our “barn doors”. Those learning how to ride, those wanting a relationship with a horse. Veterans that wanted to heal and so much more.

We developed programs based on the client. We allowed flexibility in the process to go at the clients pace. We developed a pilot program for the Veterans and was highly successful in helping all that came thru our doors.

After my accident in 2020 I depended on so many to make sure we kept running. I am so amazed at the help that I received and the loving support that was given to me and the horses. I was truly blessed with the volunteers, instructors and horses that kept Freedom Horse running.

Unfortunately, with my accident, I cannot teach or do the work that I did prior to my accident and now rely on a multitude of people to do what I can no longer do.

The past 4 years have been tough for everyone, but it has been especially tough for us. Every part of our business expenses increased. For a small private facility, this was tough. But we kept moving along.

But with everything in life, time moves on. Our horses are getting older, instructors are retiring or needing full time jobs, because of the cost of living keeps increasing.

Believe me we tried, but its time to put an ending to this book of our Freedom Horse Story.

It will be a happy ending! All the horses will finally retire with families of their own! All our current clients will find amazing facilities to continue to have a relationship with a horse.

We will be finishing our last lessons by the end October. But this is not the end of our relationship with our horses. We will continue to make sure they are well taken care of.

Our non-profit will help support the retirees of Freedom Horse Farm.

We still need your help with donations to build our non-profit’s fund. We promised always to make sure our horses are well cared for and they truly deserve the best retirement.

Freedom Horse Inc. needs your support more than ever. Any donation will help.

With winter approaching, we would love to fill our hay loft with feed and hay.

Winter is a tough time on a therapeutic riding facility as a lot of the clients put lessons on hold until the spring.

If everyone could just donate $10.00 dollars, It would help immensely.

Unfortunately,, prices go up in the winter, but our horses still eat the same.. Any help would have be appreciated and it will also be taxed deductible.

He just finished his racing career with over 1 million dollars in winnings!

He is settling in well and actually did his first grooming lesson yesterday. Stood like a pro and enjoyed his time with Sean!

It's very important to recheck saddle fit to the horses. Body changes can cause a saddle that once fit to become uncomfortable.

Remember you never buy a saddle before trying it out to see if your horse likes it too!!

Our rider Kevin has created a beautiful video and song for his friend Herk.

Kevin was the first rider for Herk and has worked with Herkules for years. They had a bond and a partnership that truly was amazing.
