These chorizo tacos were fantastic. I might be a little biased since we had the pigs processed. Contentnea Farms does a great job of processing our pork and beef. Check out the price list and get’cha some before it’s sold out.

No more moving round pen panels to set up a working area at the head gate YAY 🙌 first time using the permanent work area that Tim built for the cows went smoothly 🐄

They are home and resting after a long day showing at the 4-H show in Kinston. No attachments here no matter how cute they can be. Their new names are bacon, sausage and pork chop 😆 sorry not sorry

The hog pin area is coming along nicely. Tim and a few others that helped him, have done a great job. He has to put up some siding to protect the hogs from the elements. We will be butchering boogie hogs but at least we know where our pork came from and how it was raised. We will be posting a price list in the near future of what we will have to offer. Our meat is processed at a facility that is USDA inspected.

Teaching a youngster about loading horses and making sure this mare loads easily before it’s actually the morning of a show and that there’s more to riding/owning horses than just riding. Both had a great day of lessons.

Sure is some good looking “cow” hay. Baling rounds of coastal cow hay and horse hay out of different fields tomorrow, midday Sunday. Located in Vanceboro not far from Yoders. Cheaper out the field than the barn.
