I am so excited I have to brag about Rush County. In a time when cold weather affects chickens and they slow down in egg production, predators affect the number of flock, and the demand is high…..Rush County chicken farmers came through for me. I promised that my homemade noodles would always be made by eggs from local farmers and I had to go an extra mile to make that happen. Completing the Thanksgiving orders I used 432 eggs from various farmers. I was not disappointed in a one. They were gorgeous and I believe these are the best noodles yet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who ordered noodles and those who supplied eggs. Anyone needing noodles after Thanksgiving can message me. I will be making more.

Announcement……..
Due to scheduling conflicts, Four Spoons and a Bowl will Not be at Christmas on Main in Rushville.

We are, however, taking orders for yeast rolls, sugar cream pie and caramel corn in time for Thanksgiving. Orders for noodles have closed until after Thanksgiving. We will be posting details about the rolls, pie and caramel corn individually so stay tuned for more info on these great products!

Researching the top side dishes for the Thanksgiving meal, not one list included homemade egg noodles. 😱 I’m shocked!

Homemade noodles is what goes on top of the mashed potatoes (which by the way, made the list).
I know it’s a very popular side dish around here. Is it just a Hoosier thing (like sugar cream pie) or a Midwest tradition?
