This is what rebuilding actually looks like.

Teo day ago was Day 1 of the move.

Today I walked into the shop and saw boxes, racks, equipment, supplies, cables, paperwork, and complete chaos.

And honestly?

For a moment, I just stood there. I couldn’t even check the calls or messages in the shop phone… (I”ll start bringing it with me from now on).

Because rebuilding isn’t glamorous.

It’s not pretty.

It’s not the part people usually show.

Yesterday, I wasn’t ready to deal with all of this.

So I washed a few dishes.

Took the trash out.

Grabbed the grinder so I could make cold brew concentrate at home.

And then I left.

Sometimes that’s all you can do.

Sometimes the next step isn’t conquering the mountain.

It’s simply proving to yourself that you’ll come back tomorrow.

Well… today’s tomorrow.

So tonight we’ll see how much progress we can make.

One box.

One shelf.

One decision at a time.

That’s how rebuilding happens.

They don’t need to understand
You don’t need their approval. Sometimes the hardest truth to accept is that you can love something, fight for it, sacrifice for it… and still realize it’s no longer where you’re meant to stay.

We spend so much time questioning ourselves.

“Why do I feel this way after working so hard for this?”
“Why am I not happy when this is what I wanted?”
“What will people think if I walk away?”

But peace doesn’t always come from holding on.

Sometimes peace comes from having the courage to close a chapter that no longer fits the woman you’ve become.

You don’t need everyone’s understanding.
You don’t need permission.
You don’t need to justify every feeling.

Your life is yours to live.

If something is costing you your joy, your health, your peace, or your sense of self, stop measuring your decisions by what others expect and start measuring them by what you know you need.

Closing a chapter is not failure.

Sometimes it’s the bravest thing you’ll ever do.

And no, you’re not the only woman trying to figure that out.

Every season brings a new challenge.
For the last two years, our storefront gave us systems, routines, space, and conveniences that became part of our everyday operation. Now we’re entering a completely different chapter—one that requires adaptation, creativity, patience, and a lot of faith.
Today was one of those milestone days.
The refrigerators, freezers, and large equipment officially made it into our new workspace at home. What felt impossible a few weeks ago is slowly becoming reality.
There is still a lot left to move. There are still pieces of equipment to sell. There are still countless details to organize.
But the biggest lesson of this journey is that you don’t have to have everything figured out before taking the next step.
You figure it out one decision, one problem, one box, and one day at a time.
I’ve done this before. I’ve rebuilt before. And if this new chapter requires new systems, new routines, and new solutions, I’ll figure those out too.
For now, I’m choosing gratitude.
Everything is slowly falling into place exactly as we hoped, planned, and prayed for.
Tomorrow we’ll continue with shelves, boxes, and more boxes.
But tonight?
We’re resting.
Because today, today was a big day and we figured that out.

Today we enter peak moving chaos.

For the next few days we’ll be moving ovens, freezers, mixers, cake pans, supplies, and what feels like a million other things.

So here’s a challenge:

Every coffee or cookie order placed during our move will receive a surprise gift as a thank you for supporting us during the chaos.

The moving trips may be busy, but our online shop is still open.

Just in case anyone thought we spent the last few years sitting around… 😂

Here’s part of the proof of what was created inside our little corner of Downtown St. Cloud.

More than 200 custom cakes. Hundreds of celebrations. Thousands of memories.

Every cake carried a story, a milestone, a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or simply a reason to gather with the people who matter most.

Today, there is no more production happening in that storefront. That chapter has officially closed.

But the talent, the passion, the creativity, and the determination that built all of this? Those are coming with us.

We’re packing up, moving forward, and getting ready to build again from the ground up.

And trust me… you’re going to want to see what comes next.

Cada cake llevó consigo una historia, un cumpleaños, una graduación, un aniversario o simplemente una razón para reunir a las personas que más importan.

Hoy ya no sale más producción de esa tienda. Ese capítulo cerró oficialmente.

Pero el talento, la pasión, la creatividad y la determinación que construyeron todo esto vienen con nosotros.

Estamos empacando, avanzando y preparándonos para comenzar nuevamente desde cero.

Y créanme… no van a querer perderse lo que viene.

Sígannos porque si no le dan follow, es posible que esta página no vuelva a aparecer en su feed… y ninguno de nosotros quiere perderse esta próxima aventura.

Twenty-two days after closing our storefront doors, today marked another milestone.

Three weeks later, this was our final production day inside the shop.

Starting this coming week, all orders will be produced from home. We are not ready to move the store yet. We are not even ready to move the equipment. But sometimes life doesn’t wait until you’re ready, so we’ll move forward anyway, and just make it happen.

It hasn’t been easy figuring out how to reorganize everything while continuing to serve our customers, answer messages, fulfill orders, and keep the business moving. Somehow, one day at a time, we’ve made it work. And in just two days, the next chapter begins as we start the move.

Today felt like the perfect way to close this season. We finished beautiful cakes, created new orders, received so much love from our Downtown family, and welcomed a few of our regular customers who stopped by looking for their coffee.

Tomorrow is Father’s Day.

A day that for sure, will carry its own emotions.

But just like every day lately, I’ll keep figuring it out.

Twenty days ago, my days looked very different.

A few days before closing the storefront, someone asked if I was heading to Puerto Rico for vacation or if I planned to sleep for an entire week after we closed.

The answer was neither. 😂

Closing a physical storefront doesn’t mean the work disappears. It doesn’t mean the responsibilities end. It simply means life begins to look a little different.

These past 20 days have been filled with custom orders, emails, quotes, invoices, baking, packaging, planning, organizing, and preparing for what comes next.

And the most beautiful part? The orders haven’t stopped.

Our customers continue trusting us with their celebrations, milestones, and special moments. Every order, every message, every referral reminds me why we’ve worked so hard to build this business.

This season has brought challenges, uncertainty, and more than a few moments where I had to figure things out one step at a time. But it has also brought something I didn’t have before: balance.

For the first time in a long time, I’m finding space for my work, my family, and myself. Not perfectly. Not every day. But little by little.

It hasn’t been easy, but every day has reminded me that we’re stronger than we think.

And for that, I am incredibly grateful.

If you’re standing at a crossroads, wondering if it’s possible to rebuild after closing a storefront, changing direction, or starting over, let me tell you this:

It may not happen the way you planned.
It may not happen overnight.
But it is possible.

Twenty days in, I’m still figuring it out.

And somehow, one step at a time, I’m discovering that new beginnings can be just as beautiful as the chapters we leave behind.

Here’s to building, growing, and trusting the process—one order, one project, and one day at a time. ❤️
