The Frederick Spring Fair will be even bigger than I thought! Because of the race downtown, the fair will begin at 12.30 and go to 6:00!

Greenfield Acres Farm has an awesome spot just down from the library garage, so come by and say hello! My booth will feature handknitted alpaca items, dryer balls, felted soaps, and other sundries. Hope to see you there, rain or shine, but probably rain.

Not too many photos of me. I'm all about the critters and fiber stuff, so here's what I look like around the barn.

Greenfield Acres Farm story

After moving to this idyllic spot and building our house, we first planted a vegetable garden. But with 10 acres to spare, we considered many options and finally landed on ALPACAS after our neighbor was disbanding their herd. The only problem was that we didn’t have a barn, let alone fencing. It took about six months to finish and in March 2017, our herd of 13 arrived!

When our fiber came back from the mill as beautiful yarn and roving, we decided to take it a step further, and 7 more alpacas arrived right before shearing. We definitely have been bitten by the alpaca bug!

Stay tuned for new products. And since we also expanded our vegetable garden, we may begin selling some of our organic produce, too.
