Just hopping on to let everyone know that this young man is filming on our street this evening, but we will still be open. You will need to park around the DeSoto St. area, but it’s just a short walk for some yummy desserts. Plus you might catch a glimpse of some movie stars.

It’s hard to put into words what Mr. Jim meant to us and to so many of you.

For the past 15 years, he was a steady, familiar presence here—almost every single day. Whether he was outside playing his guitar, making people smile with his music, or gathering with his Wednesday crew to share laughs, stories, and a little bit of wisdom, Mr. Jim helped make this place feel like more than just a business. He made it a community.

He had a way of bringing people together—locals, visitors, old friends, and new ones alike. So many conversations, so much laughter, and so many memories happened because he was here.

We are deeply saddened by his passing today and our hearts go out to his family and all who knew and loved him.

He will be greatly missed, but his music, his spirit, and the joy he brought to this corner will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Mr. Jim. ❤️
