As many of you know, I’ve been pulled in many directions over the past year. I love everything I’m doing, but it’s simply become too much, so I started thinking about who I would trust to take on parts of my business. So I made a list. Unrefined Bakery was at the top of that list, so I approached them about partnering at some level. They have now acquired my baking business, including my recipes and commercial accounts. The bake shop’s products you love will continue — now with expanded resources behind them. You won’t have to wait for me to make my seven loaves at a time anymore — you’ll have plenty of gluten‑free, organic bread anytime you want it!This is an unbelievable group, and they’ve got a team ready to go. I’ve loved building this business and I poured my heart into it. I loved building the retail side even more than the commercial accounts — it’s been so much fun in Hurst with all of you. I’m going to miss it, but I need to help my mom and spend more time with my family. Thanks for the fun conversations and great relationships over the years; this work has been a huge part of my life, and I’m better for it.
