We had a full house at Franklin Academy Charter School at their recent Farmer's Market, where Cooper City students got to experience fresh produce firsthand, sampling everything from juicy grapefruits to bright berries.

Who knew getting your daily dose of vitamins could be this much fun? 🎉

We’ve had a full and rewarding month out in Colorado with Rocky Mountain Prep across the Berkeley and Sunnyside campuses, supporting a range of meaningful school events!

At the Health Fair, students, staff, and community vendors came together for an interactive day focused on wellness, with hands-on activities, food exploration, and opportunities to learn more about making balanced choices in a fun, approachable way.

We also took part in student registration events, where we connected with new and returning families, answered questions, and shared information about the year ahead as they got ready to start another successful school year.

As the school year winds down, the results are officially in: our student critics have given this season’s lineup a unanimous A+!

Throughout the year, Taste Tours have placed students at the center of our culinary process. By tasting new concepts and providing honest feedback, they have helped us tailor our menus to the specific preferences of each school community.

We are proud to close out the semester with an array of new flavors that truly reflect what our students want to see on their plates. 📝✅

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting our FIRST EVER Flavor Fest at KIPP Un Mundo Primary School! The day was dedicated to culinary discovery, where students stepped into the role of food critics to help us shape the future of their school meals. 🎉

With feedback sheets in hand, these young KIPPsters were ready to taste and share their thoughts. Students sampled new SLA recipes, including the Beefy Crunch Wrap, Roasted Garlic Parmesan Cauliflower, and our Savory Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Sandwich, which quickly became the favorite of the day. They also tried additional samples from our vendor partners, Rich Products, McCain Foods USA, and Sysco, as we explored potential new menu additions.

This event wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of our San Antonio child nutrition team and the staff members who traveled from across the region to lend their support. Seeing the students engage so thoughtfully with new flavors reminds us why we do what we do, and we are so grateful for their honest, enthusiastic feedback. Thank you to the KIPP Texas Public Schools community for welcoming us - we can't wait to bring more of these favorites to the cafeteria line soon! ❤️
