I know we have been sharing about our Maple Syrup season but we have something else that’s sweet to share. Our girl Gigi had four beautiful babies on February 11. We really have been MIA over here! Here’s a little update on what we’ve been up to. We had our first cooking Febuary 6th and have barely been able to catch a break. We are so thankful for each drop of sap that comes in and have been overwhelmed by how well it has been flowing in. It looks like next week will be the same 🙌🏼 I haven’t been present on social like other years because I have some precious souls that need my attention 😉 so if you are wanting to have your own jars filled or have questions please msg us or text us! We got to host a harvest party here last night and the weather was perfect. These fall sunsets are just so dreamy. Is am so thankful for these beautiful people. 🥰🥰🥰

What was supposed to be our first day for school turned into “Baby day” so off to the vet we went with Prada. Updates coming soon!

The oldest kiddos went back to build a “campsite” today back in the woods. So the twins and I had to go investigate. They did pretty good and even made us s’mores. We are enjoying the last part of summer and really wish it could stay.

Meet Stormy! This girl was born on Alexis’ birthday. Stormy has been so much fun and we are enjoying having her on the farm. Charlotte is your favorite and comes up to her every time… I think it’s because he always has green or brown sugar to offer 😋 we have had a busy summer but have been enjoying it so much!

Our 4th time cooking Maple Syrup last night. I saw a quote in a cookbook that says “there’s no finer sight or smell in spring than steam billowing from a sugar shack.” I must say I agree, and it tastes pretty amazing too!

Getting sap lines ready for our upcoming Maple Syrup season. Just like Grandpa always does, if your hands get cold build yourself a fire to warm up your hands. As parents we want to rush through and just get the job done. It’s hard to stop and do things like this but this is where the memories are made. 🤍🤍🤍

Filling up the wood box for the first time is always exciting. Check back in a month or two for updates 😂 I am not looking forward to the days of bundling up each kiddo but we can find joy in every season! There is nothing cozier than snuggling by the wood stove with my babies!
