Join owner Bill Michaels for a guided walking tour of the Fly Creek Cider Mill and learn how the Mill harnesses water from Fly Creek to power machinery using its historic 1872 Lesner water turbine.

The tour will explore the history of water-powered industry in rural New York, the engineering behind the Mill's hydro-powered system, and the restoration efforts that keep this important piece of agricultural and industrial heritage operating today. Guests will have the opportunity to view the turbine system, learn how water energy is transferred to machinery, and discover how traditional technology continues to play a role in modern agritourism and food production.
