Unlike other competitions, which offer minimal distinction, our esteemed committee has pioneered the world’s first professional spirits competition with over 60 meticulously curated categories, ensuring only the finest expressions of Tequila, Mezcal, and Agave spirits are recognized.

2025 “Best of Show” Winners:
1st Place Carreta de Oro Tequila Reposado, Double Gold (96 pts)

Denver restaurant favorite, La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal in the LoDo area is a delicious, small joint with great, award-winning Pozole.
Pozole is a traditional soup or stew from Mexican cuisine. It is made from hominy with meat, and can be seasoned and garnished with shredded lettuce or cabbage.
