I recently shot some senior portraits of my cousin. Starting out I used to photograph people all the time. Then I started only creating imagery of places and products. Over the last few years, I’ve come back to capturing the images of people again. It’s such a unique experience. I always enjoy the words I receive when I deliver the images.

is throwing their amazing LandCruiser strip down party this week. It’s a stellar group of enthusiasts, collecting and sorting parts from generations of cruisers to be used for cruisers to come. It’s a great way to spend a few day with some great people.

AI Photos are quite the eye catcher. I’ve been spending time this week learning MidJourney and it’s prompting methods. It’s pretty amazing what one can create with just a few key phrases, even more so if you know how to finesse the prompts. This technology is still in its infancy, but miles ahead of what it was just a year ago.

This will be a fantastic tool for concept mood boards, lighting ideas, brand pitches, and even nonsensical notions that may pop into my head that I want to see visually.

As a photographer this technology can be disturbing and disruptive, but I’m trying to look at it as a tool to help me produce better, than a career killer. Gotta hop on the future train while I can. It’s pretty rad!!

Really stoked on how this sizzle video came out for the 2nd Annual Stripper Party. We tore down a bunch of older landcruisers for OEM parts and cleaned up the ever growing yard of acquired parts donor cruisers. Thanks to everyone involved for letting me both shove a camera in your faces, as well as giving me a lifetime of cruiser knowledge.
