We have made the difficult decision to cancel our appearance at the Vail Vikings event this weekend due to the extreme heat forecast.
The safety and well-being of our team always comes first. With heat warnings in effect and temperatures expected to reach 105–108°F during the afternoon, we've become increasingly concerned about working in those conditions.
As many of you know, our setup is outdoors under tents, operating a donut machine that reaches 400°F along with two burners. Without the benefit of an air-conditioned food truck, the combination of the equipment and the extreme temperatures creates unsafe working conditions for our team.
We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again in September at the Second Saturday Market—hopefully with much cooler weather!
