Just thought I’d put it out for everyone so if you try to reach out and I’m unavailable you know why. I will be posting out schedule today at some point. Wednesday night when heading back to work we were in an accident where we were t-boned. The truck is totaled but we are alive and that’s what matters. I haven’t physically seen the truck besides a couple photos because I was taken to the hospital. I am very very sore, broke at least one rib, and have a possible broken elbow(I have more fluid on it then they would like to see). I had some scans done but they can’t rule out a broken scapula/shoulder because I couldn’t raise my arm for the scan. Thankfully this has affected my whole left side and not my dominant side but none the less it makes it very difficult to even do the smallest things like stand up. I worked a couple hours yesterday morning and was in a lot of pain so I’m having to adjust my role/hours.

This accident was posted on Facebook groups and I have to add some things because I have seen the idiotic comments. No I wasn’t on my phone, Yes I can read, yes I obey traffic rules and I am a very cautious driver. I normally pull my food trailer and it’s 25.5 ft so I don’t chance anything. Thankfully Wednesday I didn’t have the trailer as it was already on site. I started to go across Perimeter road because the car going north had their signal on but never turned. Never tried to hit their brakes. We were just hit. That’s all I remember. There’s no marks on the road to suggest different. YES there needs to be a caution light by the overpass to alert drivers that a red light is coming up and a red light placed at this intersection. This intersection is insanely business as there are 2 schools in this area and the traffic is horrible especially during morning and afternoon traffic. What would it hurt to put a light here? I have personally known someone who has died at this intersection as well as a friends niece was killed there as well. I will do whatever I can to try and get something done here
