The Valley Ranch Green Club, formed in 2015, is dedicated to protecting and improving the natural resources and wildlife in Valley Ranch. We are volunteer residents of Valley Ranch focused on educating our residents, increasing the use of native plants and trees, helping pollinators, and certifying our community as a Wildlife Habitat Community with the National Wildlife Federation.

Thank you, VR Green Club volunteers, for making the Valley Ranch Association EarthFest event such a success! Together, we educated over 300 residents on the importance of having and in a pollinator garden, and we gave 250 host plants and 16 butterfly garden plant kits. We shared knowledge on native Texas birds, and why snakes are important to our ecosystem - including a live snake demonstration! We taught residents what to plant in the deep shade of large trees, how not to over-prune trees, and how to be DarkSky Texas in their homes to help migrating birds. Learned a lot and had a great time!
