Go to the link in comment below and register now for our Sept 20 Autumn Equinox potluck and conversation on things that matter - like agriculture! For our program, we have three women in agriculture who will join us with their perspective on the state of farming in north Texas. What are our issues, challenges, and opportunities? What can/must we do together to make a meaningful difference? These women have unique perspectives we need to hear and discuss.
The third panelist we want to introduce you to today is Lisha Williams. Lisha is the founder and CEO of Sustainable Plate Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and underserved communities through gardening, food education, and sustainable agriculture.
She combines a technology background with her passion for agriculture to develop innovative STEM-based gardening and food-growing programs for young people. She is also an experienced farmer and community volunteer and has served in leadership roles in education and youth ministry.
Grab your ticket now through the registration link, join us at the table, and let’s be part of a conversation that matters with good folks like Lisha.

Haven’t done a blog post in a while. But sometimes there are moments that seem to bring everything together. Go to the FB comments for a link to “Life and Death: A Sacrament.” Just a brief reflection inspired by Wendell (of course) on living and dying with reverence, skill, and love. Peace and all good things from the farm.
