So yesterday we reascued 4 starving kittens. 2 were almost dead and already posturing. They were cold and very lethargic. We were able to get them warmed up under the heat lamp yet they were still posturing and lethargic. Figured out that the 2 were so starved they were suffering from opisthotonos. Got some honey rubbed on their gums to get their blood sugar up and some replacement milk in their tummies and happy to say that they are doing great now.
So we now have 8 kittens on the Homestead!
