🍯 Fresh Local Honey Is Available! 🍯
One of the things I love most about beekeeping is that no two harvests are exactly alike.
This photo shows honey from our very first fall harvest in 2024, two different fall 2025 harvests, and our first spring/summer 2026 harvest. It’s amazing to see how much the color changes from year to year—and especially from spring to fall.
The reason? It all comes down to what the bees are foraging on. This year’s spring honey is so light because the bees had an abundance of clover, along with a variety of wildflowers, to choose from. Fall honey tends to be darker as nectar sources change later in the season.
Right now, I have two varieties available:
🍯 Dark Honey – Harvested last fall, this rich amber honey has a bold flavor with hints of caramel and a stronger honey aroma. If you enjoy a more robust honey, this one’s for you.
🍯 Light Spring/Summer Honey – Primarily clover with a mix of wildflowers, this honey has a beautiful light color and a mild, sweet flavor that’s smooth and delicious.
I personally love them both! They each have their own unique flavor, and it’s fun to taste the difference each season brings.
If you’d like some fresh local honey, send me a message! Try one—or grab one of each and decide which is your favorite! 🍯💛
