🐐❤️ Goat of the Day: June ❤️🐐

Meet June — our very first goat and the original OG of Vinny’s Goat Farm. She knows she’s royalty, and honestly, she expects everyone else to know it too! 👑

With her legendary resting goat face and queen-like attitude, June runs this place like she owns it. She’s been known to do a few shady things for treats, and if there’s trouble to be found, chances are June is already involved. 😂

June is a fainting goat, so she keeps us laughing (and occasionally rolling our eyes) with her dramatic antics. She definitely keeps us on our toes!

Most importantly, she’s blessed us with three beautiful girls, and we couldn’t imagine the farm without her. Through all her sass, mischief, and queen behavior, she’s loved beyond measure.

The goats: “Did you say… unlimited flying snacks?” 🍃😂

Meanwhile, the wind is trying to blow us into next week, and these little weirdos are standing outside like it’s an all-you-can-eat leaf buffet.

Priorities. 🤦‍♀️🐐💨

🐐⛈️ Storm warning: issued. Goat warning: ignored.

Me: “Everybody inside! Bad weather is coming!”
The goats: “But… free leaves are falling from the sky!” 🍃

Tried the responsible farmer approach.
Tried the “mom voice.”
Finally resorted to bribery with bread…

And those tiny terrorists still said, “Nah, we’re good.” 😂

🐐❤️ Meet Our Goat of the Day: Belle ❤️🐐

We rescued sweet Belle back in November of last year from a flock swap. Someone was trying to purchase her and her little boy, Chip, for dinner. God had other plans for them, and we are so thankful Belle found her way to Vinny’s Goat Farm.

We believe Belle came from a home where she wasn’t shown much love or kindness. Even now, she’s still learning that people can be gentle and that she is safe. Trust takes time, and we’re letting Belle heal at her own pace.

Sadly, we lost her precious son, Chip. He was extremely weak and sick when we brought him home, and despite our best efforts, he only had 19 days with us. Those 19 days were filled with love, safety, good food, and gentle care. While we wish we could have had more time with him, we’re thankful his short life ended knowing what it felt like to be cherished.

Belle’s story is a reminder of why we do what we do. Every animal deserves love, compassion, and a chance to feel safe. ❤️
