The Black Sheep Gathering 2026

GSBANA’s second ever National Sheep show

The 20th anniversary of the Gotland Sheep Breeders Association of North America

Thank you to all of the GSBANA members who participated by connecting, learning, bringing animals and fleeces, and cheering on your peers. I was overjoyed to meet so many amazing people who share the same love for this breed.

Thank you to the GSBANA Board members, near and far, for your endless volunteer hours to make this happen. And to our show committee who put in so much behind the scenes work.

Thank you to our sponsors for making this event possible.

Thank you to the Black Sheep Gathering. To Laura Todd, Randy Thompson, and Jessica Po***ck for working with us. You, and your teams, are amazing. I do not have the words to express my appreciation and gratitude for your work at BSG- all for the love of these animals and their fiber.

I will never forget this weekend!

I an honored and grateful to have been given the opportunity to organize the GSBANA National show, and do so as your GSBANA President.

KCF added a new ewe to our flock! FFC Abbey (ATF Otis x Black Alder Bar Bella) was the reserve grand champion Gotland ewe at the Black Sheep Gathering and National Gotland sheep show! This ewe is exactly what I am looking for in my flock; structurally correct, consistent curl, and a sweet personality. Thank you Frances Jermain for the opportunity to add Abbey to my flock. I am thrilled.

KCF Börje exceeded my hopes and expectations today at Black Sheep Gathering for the National Gotland Sheep Show! 1st place Gotland ram lamb, reserve grand champion Gotland ram, and best Gotland fleece! Sired from Swedish ram Kalder Lakris, this exceptional ram will elevate any Gotland flock!
