We had a great thanksgiving holiday at pheasant haven kennels! The girls love pheasant hunting! They were able to get these two birds on Sunday, they are the most talkative hunters you will meet! Good hunting girls!

Our two started dogs got some on the job training today as Iowa’s pheasant season finally opened this weekend. It always amazes me how fast they can learn from an older dog. Good luck hunting this season.

My girls and I had a great little hunt this morning. We took Gauge and Trump out so the could learn more from the old vets and they did great! Younger dogs learn so much from hunting with the older ones. If you are looking for a started lab let us know.

Gauge and Trump are two 7 month old male yellow labs that I kept back from my last litter to sell as started dogs. They are the perfect age to get started on this years pheasant season! Great reminder during this cold snap.
