I just wanted to share a little introduction to the story behind Busy B's Freeze Dried Treats!
This business actually started as my mom's dream. 🍓
She was the one who first discovered freeze drying, and she was so excited about all of it. She loved the cute, fun ideas and all the possibilities of creating unique treats, but she also loved the practical side of freeze drying and the benefits it could have for food storage. She had dreams of turning it into something big. We had a lot of fun figuring this out! A lot of trial and error, a lot of fun, and a lot of crazy days!
Unfortunately, my mom passed away a few years ago, before she got to see that dream fully come to life with how it is now. But she was in all the beginning stages and I feel like she is still such a huge part of every bit of this journey.
I still catch myself wanting to call her whenever I see a new idea or something fun that we could freeze dry. She was always up to try anything! She absolutely loved helping us at our booths and events, talking to people, and being part of the excitement.
So while this business is about yummy treats, fun ideas, and sharing something we love with all of you, it also holds a piece of my mom and I's heart. ❤️
I hope that as we continue to grow Busy B's, we can make her dream into something she would be proud of.
