I’m so excited to announce I’ve added a breed to my lovely herd. I added the big whites to my gals last year nd have been enjoying their calm and sweet personalities. The downfall you ask? I have to color code the babies when they are all born within a few days of each other to know who is who.

What a crazy day at the farm today. My grandsons experimental lamancha had 4 kids. Then 2 hours later my lamancha doe kidded 4 kids! Now waiting on one in early labor. She’s a land barge as well. What a weird kidding season.

So thrilled to be in the final line up for BOS with some absolutely amazing animals.

I have submitted the application to be a host here again for Western Montana. My only ask is that you contact me and let me know if you have signed up to attend under my host so I know how to plan the day

And there is the possibility they may not have enough to appraisers to go around but having a large number of animals signed up in an area may help that! I have over 20 at my house for appraisal. This was put out by a fellow breeder as a reminder.
LINEAR APPRAISAL SCHEDULE

The tentative 2020 Schedule is not yet available. IMPORTANT – please note that an application does not guarantee that you will be included in the 2020 trips. We have a shortage of appraisers and will not be able to do the volume done in 2019. If we cannot include your herd, you will be contacted by Feb. 1, 2020. Due to this limitation it is not likely that we will be able to return to remote locations that were covered in 2019.

So I watched her all day yesterday thinking she was in early labor. By the evening she laid down and was chewing her cud so I went to bed. This is what I came out to this morning! 2 does and a buck. Lamancha/Boer cross. That stinker wanted to do it on her own I guess.
