Our local Carnegie Diner Café (Vienna, VA) in Vienna has officially launched its pumpkin sale, with pumpkins starting at just $4 — and every pumpkin sold benefits James Madison High School SGA! 🏫✨

The funds help Madison students with activities, field trips and special events — including things like PROM! 💃🕺

Madison was the perfect school to support here in Vienna — it’s right next door, students walk over after school, and some even work at the diner!

So Madison families… this is your sign to share, share, share! 😂🫶🎃

You’re not just bringing home a pumpkin — you’re helping our local students make some pretty special memories. 🧡🎃🏫

🎃 PUMPKINS WITH A PURPOSE! 🎃

Our local Carnegie Diner & Cafe (Vienna, VA) has officially launched its pumpkin sale, with pumpkins starting at just $4 — and every pumpkin sold will benefit James Madison High School SGA! 🧡

The funds will help students cover the costs of activities, field trips and special events — including things like PROM! 💃✨

And there’s a really sweet story behind it.

Owner Stathis Antonakopoulos was inspired to do this at all of his Carnegie Diner locations because he still remembers being in high school and the local businesses that stepped up to help his senior class afford a trip they had worked so hard to take. That kindness stuck with him — and now he gets to pay it forward. 🥹

Madison was the perfect school to support here in Vienna. It’s right next door to the diner, so many Madison students walk over after school, and some even work there!

Many of you know dear Caleb Nelson, one of the long-time managers of Bear Branch Tavern — but you may not know that his wife Aisha has her own charcuterie business called Happy Healthy Mouse (Happy Healthy Mouse)!

And our wonderful Peggy James with the Vienna Business Association has welcomed them back as a Vienna Oktoberfest vendor this year! 🥨🇩🇪

This year, they’re doing something extra fun: PICKLE JARS available for PRE-ORDER! 🥒🥒🥒

So naturally, Vienna Foodies, I have a mission for us:
