Instead of creating a focal point, we enhanced one that already existed. Layered florals, organic movement, and a ceremony that felt completely at home in Yosemite.

One of my favorite parts of planning weddings is watching a couple settle into the day.

Watching the nerves fade.
Timeline starts flowing and feels natural.
Memories are being made.
Photos that will be looked back on for years to come are being taken.

The Tea Ceremony - Honoring family, heritage, and the generations who came before.

This tea ceremony was one of the most meaningful parts of the weekend. Thoughtfully woven into the day, it created space to slow down, express gratitude, and celebrate the joining of two families in a very personal way.

From the intentional details to the quiet, emotional moments shared with loved ones, it was a beautiful reminder that a wedding is not only about the celebration ahead, but the legacy that surrounds it.

For Madison and Josh, Olympic Valley already held years of memories, of family trips, of growing up, of becoming who they are together.

So when it came time to choose where they would begin their marriage, the answer was already written.
