Last Saturday night we had dinner at Coinjock Marina Restaurant, 321 Waterlily Road, Coinjock, North Carolina.
The Marina Restaurant is located along the Intercoastal Waterway. The nautical themed atmosphere of the restaurant was complemented by several luxury yachts moored to the dock just outside.
The parking lot was nearly full when we arrived. I went inside to see how long of a wait there was for a table. I was met by their friendly hostess Jasmine. She apologized for a longer than normal wait time and asked if we were willing to wait approximately 30 minutes for a table. I agreed, she took down my phone number and said she would call as soon as they had our table ready. We retreated to parking lot to wait. Within about 15 minutes I got a call saying that our table was ready. When we returned to the restaurant where we were again welcomed by Jasmine who again apologized for the wait. She showed us to our table and hoped we enjoyed our dinner.
Without delay we were welcomed by our sever Haley. We ordered drinks from their very unique cocktail menu. I (Billy) ordered the House Special “A pi**ed off captain with a broken rudder” a blend of gin, vodka, triple sec Chamdord and Madori with splashes of sours and sprite. Allison got a “Coinjock Cosmo”.
Kaiden ordered a Shirley Temple, and Ethan went with his usual chocolate milk. We got the crab dip appetizer as recommended by Haley. The crab dip was a generous portion for an appetizer.
