💗 A very personal Bella’s Sugar Shop update…
I got a notification from FB this morning that today is the 4-year anniversary of starting this page. So I felt it was fitting to make this announcement today as I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.
I’ve rewritten this post about a hundred times because, honestly, I don’t really know how to put this into words.
After a lot of thought, conversations, and some very difficult decisions, I’ve decided that I will no longer be accepting new custom orders through Bella’s Sugar Shop.
This is definitely bittersweet.
Bella’s Sugar Shop started as something I loved doing for fun, and somehow it grew into this little business that became such a huge part of my life. I’ve spent countless hours in my kitchen covered in chocolate, cake crumbs, sprinkles, and probably a little bit of stress 😂.
But I’ve also laughed, created, learned, met amazing people, and gotten to be part of so many of your special moments.
You trusted me with birthday cakes for your babies.
You ordered treats for weddings, showers, graduations, holidays, and celebrations.
You came back year after year.
You recommended me to your friends and family.
You cheered me on when I needed it.
And I want you to know that I noticed every bit of it. ❤️
There have been times when Bella’s Sugar Shop felt like so much more than a business. It gave me a creative outlet, allowed me to meet some truly wonderful people, and gave me so many memories that I will carry with me forever.
But life changes. Priorities change. And sometimes we have to give ourselves permission to let go of something we love in order to make room for what we need.
So while I’m closing the door on custom orders, I’m not completely closing the door on Bella’s. 💗
There is one part of this little business that I just can’t walk away from:
🎂 Care Cakes for Kids in Need
Those cakes mean something different to me. Being able to give a child a little bit of happiness during a difficult time is something I want to continue doing for as long as I’m able.
So Bella’s will still have a little heartbeat. Just in a different way. 🥹💕
I know this may come as a surprise to some of you, and I know some of you have been following Bella’s for years. Please know that this decision wasn’t made lightly.
And most importantly…

Thank you for letting me be a tiny part of your biggest moments.
I may be closing the custom-order chapter of Bella’s Sugar Shop, but I will never forget the people and memories that filled those pages. ❤️
