BIG NEWS... (and a little hiccup!)

As previously posted, this weekend, the PEACHY KEEN DESSERT trailer is heading to OBX for Dare Day Dockside in Wanchese!

For months, many of you have been following along as I've worked toward launching the next chapter of PEACHY KEEN with branching out to be mobile in a food trailer. I've shared sneak peeks, event announcements, and all the excitement leading up to this weekend.

Unfortunately, I just received some disappointing news...

The trailer wrap won't be completed in time for Dare Day Dockside. (insert very very sad face!)

Trust me when I say this wasn't from lack of effort. There have been countless hours of planning, building, redesigning, waiting, cleaning, prepping, scheduling, problem-solving, and yes... even a few tears along the way. We have spent hours preparing the trailer to make sure everything was ready for installation.

But sometimes life works like baking a new recipe, you can have the recipe, the ingredients, the vision, and put in all the hard work... and sometimes things still need a little more time.

While the trailer may not be making its grand visual debut this weekend, PEACHY KEEN absolutely IS making its Outer Banks debut!

And honestly... that's what matters most.

Because while the outside may still look a little rough around the edges, the desserts are going to be ready!

I've been working nonstop prepping the menu items, preparing fan favorites, coming up with new ideas, and getting everything sweet ready for this adventure. Some of the treats coming to OBX have never been offered before, and I cannot wait to share them with you!

So if you're visiting the Outer Banks this weekend, please come find me. I'll have signs, menus, lots of sweet things, and plenty of smiles.

You'll probably find me standing there with my bestie (who has been by my side since elementary school) celebrating this exciting step forward and reminding myself that progress is still progress—even when it doesn't happen exactly the way we planned.

Thank you for every prayer, encouraging message, share, comment, order, and word of support. You have helped carry me through every challenge and every victory.

The trailer reveal is simply delayed...

🍑 PEACHY KEEN IS HITTING THE ROAD 🍑

As I mentioned in previous posts, what began years ago in my home kitchen is officially entering a whole new chapter — with plenty of local dates and even some out-of-state events 😁 — and I’m SO excited to finally begin sharing where you’ll be able to find PEACHY KEEN very soon!

After months of building, designing, planning, redesigning, waiting, pivoting, praying, and pouring my heart into this vision… the PEACHY KEEN Dessert Trailer is officially beginning to book events for the upcoming season!

(And feel free to send me any events you come across — I’m always looking for fun new opportunities and locations!)

This is only the beginning, and this schedule will continue to grow and update as additional confirmations come in… but here’s a little sneak peek at where you’ll be able to find all those delicious sweet memories and exciting dessert experiences this year.

As I learn and grow through each event, there will be BRAND NEW desserts making their debut along the way! If there’s something special you’d love to see or a flavor suggestion you have, PLEASE share it! I’m definitely learning through this new adventure, and I love hearing your ideas and feedback. ❤️

And please keep in mind — I will absolutely continue creating custom cakes, wedding cakes & desserts, decorated cookies, and specialty orders. This next chapter simply allows me to bring PEACHY KEEN to festivals, beaches, weddings, private events, and destinations in a whole new way.

My vision remains the same:
“Let me BAKE sweet memories for you.”

Now those memories just get to include two of my favorite things… BAKING & TRAVELING!

Okay… it’s officially happening. EEEKKKK!! 🍑

After a lot of behind-the-scenes work, hundreds of miles driven, few unexpected delays, missed deadlines, and more than a couple “PIVOT moments”… (YES if you know me I'm definitely speaking in my Ross tone!) SO excited to finally share this:

I have been APPROVED and will be participating for the very first time with the PEACHY KEEN dessert trailer at Matthews at Mayfaire THIS Saturday & Sunday!!

This has been a long time coming. What started as a vision almost two years ago is now sitting fully built, designed, and just about ready to roll—literally. I set out to do this without a loan, struggled some but slowly bought piece by piece and built out this little food trailer to give me flexibility, to allow me to work & travel simultaneously. While a few final details are still coming together, (the wrap has been the biggest delay unfortunately as much as my heart wanted it all done before any use, things out of my control has prevented this! Just know this amazing design of no less than 4 people and hours & hours of work is going to look amazing when its completed! ) the inside and the heart of it is DONE… and I couldn’t wait any longer to share this moment.

And here’s the fun part… 👀

I will be bringing brand new desserts, pastries and all things sweet, that I have NEVER offered before.
Not just a twist on what you’ve seen… but a whole new experience.

Over the years, life has a way of gently (and sometimes unexpectedly) shifting our plans… and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every season carries purpose—even when it looks totally different than we imagined.

Almost 8 ½-9 years ago, I never set out to build a business. What began as a simple idea—baking to help offset cost of a mission trip for me and my kids—became something so much more. Through the highs, the disappointments, the growth of my children into young adults, and the many changes in life… this journey has continued to evolve right alongside me.

What started in my home kitchen simply baking pumpkin rolls for that trip- turned into something deeper—new connections, finding my spot in a community of other wonderful bakers, and the opportunity to create sweet moments for others. And somewhere along the way recently, it became more and more clear… this wasn’t just about trying to help supplement our income, even though I was doing something I love. It was about finding the path from there to here (and other places too 😉)..

Over the past few years, things have ebbed and flowed. I’ve spent more time traveling, making memories with family, and really praying about what this next chapter should look like. There were seasons of quiet, seasons of questioning, and seasons of growth behind the scenes.

And now… I can finally say I’m stepping into something new.

This next chapter has been in the works for quite some time—built slowly over the past year and half, intentionally, and then extreme dedication of over 40 hours a week dedicated over the past two months- flooded with excitement, full of heart & energy. It’s a reflection of where I’ve been, what I love, and where I feel led to go next.

While things may look a little different moving forward, one thing will never change—my passion for creating meaningful, beautiful DELICIOUS desserts for life’s special moments.

NOTICE- I will still be offering custom orders including wedding cakes, specialty cakes, decorated cookies, and more. While no more limited than I have been over the past year, there’s something exciting coming that will allow me to bring PEACHY KEEN to even more places, people, and celebrations.

From elegant weddings to local festivals, from intimate gatherings to fun, high-energy events… I’m preparing to expand in a way that blends everything I love—creativity, flexibility, and connection.

Those of you that have supported me in anyway, you’ve been the most special part of this journey—whether from the very beginning or just recently—THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.🩷 Your support, encouragement, and belief in what I do means more than I could ever put into words.

This is just the beginning of what’s ahead… and I truly cannot wait to share it with you. 💕
