Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch-type horse within the confines of a show arena. There are a total of 13 approved official Reining patterns, and horses exhibit individually-performing, compulsory movements which include small slow circles, large fast circles, flying changes of lead, roll-backs, quick 360-degree spins, and the ever-exciting sliding stops which have become the hallmark of the Reining horse.

🚨 Arrival Directions | One HOT Reining 🚨
📍 Extraco Events Center – Waco, TX

To help ensure a smooth arrival for everyone, please follow the directions below when hauling in:

➡️ ALL TRAILERS must enter through Gate #5 off Lake Air Drive and proceed directly to the Show Pavilion.

🐴 Unloading Instructions:

Trailers may unload on either the East or West side of the Show Pavilion.

If unloading on the East side, please use extra caution due to the construction zone noted on the facility map.

Trailers may pull through the breezeway between the Show Pavilion Barn and the Indoor Warm Up Arena.

🅿️ Trailer Parking:

If you are not utilizing an RV spot, please park your trailer in the lot north of the Show Pavilion after unloading.

🏢 Show Office Location:

The Show Office is located in the breezeway, inside Door #11, directly across from Warm Up Pen #1.

🚨 UPDATED Arrival Notice – 2026 One HOT Reining 🚨

UPDATE: The Extraco Events Center Show Pavilion barn will now open at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 27 for contestants to begin arriving for the 2026 One HOT Reining.

The One HOT Reining remains on schedule, and we are prepared to move forward exactly as previously published. Paid Warm-Up's will still begin at noon.

🚚 Arrival & Parking Information:
• Enter through Gate #5 off Lake Air Drive
• If you are not utilizing an RV space, please park trailers in the lot north of the Show Pavilion
