What a day at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue

2nd place brisket (Perfect 180)
22nd place Pork
44th overall out of 360 teams!!

Still coming down from the adrenaline rush of being on the Royal Stage. Started with a 22nd place pork call while still on a high from that call we got the 2nd place brisket call!! Congrats to Nicholas Owensby he received a 3rd place pork call and got to walk the stage as well. Was a spectacular time for all of us. Thank you to Steven Vetter for going out to be my assistant pit master for the weekend!! Congrats to Aaron Huentelman and his Go Big or Go BBQ team on his 9th place vegetable call. Congrats to everyone else who heard their name called this weekend on BBQ’s biggest stage!! Was an excellent weekend with excellent friends!
