I used to sit there thinking…
“What should I even eat?”

Not because I didn’t have food
But because I didn’t know what would actually help me

Some days I needed energy
Some days I needed focus
Some days I just wanted to feel better overall

So I’d just eat whatever… and feel it later

That’s why I started building Eat For It

An app that builds meals around:
✅ your goals (energy, focus, health, muscle, calm)
✅ your time
✅ your budget
✅ even what you already have at home

We’re getting ready to launch, and I’m opening early access

I’ll be real with you

I used to eat and not think twice about it.
Not in a bad way… I just didn’t connect the dots.

I didn’t realize how much what I was eating was affecting:

* my energy
* my focus

And maybe you’ve been there too,
you’re trying to eat better, but you still feel off sometimes.

That’s where you and I can change the story.

Not by being perfect… but by becoming more aware.

Just noticing:
What did I eat?
How did I feel after?
Did it give me energy, or take it away?

And over time, we’ll see the difference.

That’s why I feel like this isn’t something you or I have to figure out alone, it’s something we can learn and build together.

Because once we understand what works for us, everything changes.

In your journey as you strive to feel better, think clearer, or just be more intentional with how you eat, just know you’re not alone in that.

Let’s build this together
Follow and be part of a space focused on:
Energy. Focus. Performance. Growth.

I’m building something around this idea ‘Eat For It’ coming soon
and I’d genuinely love for you to be part of it from the beginning.

I did research on the gut brain system and it’s absolutely fascinating!

🧠 Tangerines & the Gut–Brain Axis

1. Feeds good gut bacteria (prebiotic effect)

Tangerines contain fiber (especially pectin) that acts as a prebiotic, fuel for beneficial gut bacteria.
This helps shape the gut microbiome and supports production of beneficial compounds like short-chain fatty acids.

2. Direct link to the gut–brain axis

The gut–brain axis is a two-way communication system between your gut and brain involving neural, hormonal, and immune pathways.
Improving gut health can influence:

* Mood
* Stress response
* Cognitive function

3. Supports brain health (antioxidants + vitamin C)

Tangerines are rich in vitamin C and flavonoids (e.g., nobiletin, hesperidin) that:

* Help protect brain cells from oxidative stress
* May support memory and cognitive function

4. Anti-inflammatory effects (gut + brain connection)

Citrus compounds help reduce inflammation in the gut, which is important because chronic gut inflammation can negatively affect brain function and mood.

5. Nutritional support for signaling

Tangerines provide:

* Vitamin C → supports neurotransmitter production and stress regulation
* Fiber → supports digestion and stable energy

I’ve struggled with eating well for a long time, especially when I’m constantly working. I’d either forget to eat and lose my appetite, or get so hungry that I’d overeat and end up with a stomachache. There was no balance.

That changed when I started meal prepping. When I say it’s been a lifesaver I’m not kidding iykyk.

This is a picture of two days of my prepped lunch for work.

Recently decided to commit to the process of pursuing health after trying for a while.
I’m not sure what yo expect, or how far this will go, or if anyone will see this but I hope you stick around.

Also this is before and after a really good meal 😋
