Long before there were vines here, there was a view.

This is the spot where Ken and Kristin first stood when they visited the property. Looking out across the Blue Mountains, the Palouse, and the rolling hills beyond, they fell in love with the land and decided to take a chance on a dream.

Years later, that same spot became the vineyard terrace.

And just below it, Ken planted his favorite grape: Sangiovese.

It feels fitting that the place where the dream began is still one of the most meaningful places on the estate.

It’s hard to put into words what this wine means to us.

Not because it’s our first release from the estate, but because of everything it represents.

The belief that this land could produce something unique.
The patience required to wait for young vines to mature.
The excitement of seeing an idea become reality.

On June 19, you'll have the opportunity to taste it while it's still becoming what it's meant to be.

Join REALI winemaker Serge Laville for an intimate exploration of wines aging in concrete, amphora, stainless steel, and French oak. You'll experience firsthand how each vessel shapes texture, aroma, and character—while tasting through wines still evolving in the cellar.

It's a rare opportunity to step behind the curtain and better understand the decisions that shape every bottle we make.

Some evenings are worth slowing down for.

On July 11, we'll gather under the summer sky for Midsummer Evening at REALI—an intimate four-course dinner created by Hattaway's, thoughtfully paired with our wines and set among the vines that inspired them.

The evening will also feature live acoustic music by Ivan Huerta and the debut of several new estate wines, including our first estate-grown Vermentino.

Good food.
Good wine.
Good company.
And a view that reminds you why you came to Walla Walla in the first place.

Vermentino felt like the perfect place to begin—a variety connected to Ken's family's Tuscan heritage and one that thrives in warm, sunny climates.

The result is fresh, vibrant, and exactly the kind of wine we love sharing around the table with friends.

Celebrate Walla Walla is almost here, and we're looking forward to being part of a weekend that brings so many people together around wine, food, and good conversation.

On Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, we'll be hosting a Vintners Vessel Tasting at REALI winery. Serge will lead the vessel tasting and also pour our released wines. Then, Saturday evening at we'll be pouring alongside some of the Valley's incredible wineries during Celebrate Walla Walla's signature tasting event from 5–9 PM.

It's shaping up to be a pretty special weekend.

You'll find them walking the vineyard, welcoming guests, sharing stories, and pouring wines they're genuinely proud of.

REALI was built from a love of wine, certainly—but even more from a love of bringing people together.

Every bottle, every gathering, and every experience begins with that simple idea.

We're grateful to share it with you.

When people talk about terroir, they’re really talking about the relationship between vine and place.

Our estate vineyard was formed by the ancient Missoula floods, leaving behind silty loam soils that hold moisture and encourage deep root growth. Over time, those roots draw more character from the land, helping shape the flavors and personality of the wine.

We’re still in the early chapters of this vineyard’s story, and that’s what makes the journey so exciting.
