We are in the process of getting our "Mountain View Farm Dog Treats" officially licensed to sell through the Department of Agriculture in Maine! It's quite a process, but then we will be "legal" to sell our dog treats! Yay!!!

We would love to know what your dog's favorite treats are! We pride ourselves on making our dog treats with natural and locally sourced materials whenever possible, and of course we make them with lots of love and they are always approved first by our own pups, Tink and Penny!

We will definately be bringing back the "Peanut Butter Pumpkin" ones! Those have been a huge hit, and we have gotten great feedback from our doggy friends on those!

Since we live in wild blueberry land in Maine, we thought we definately have to offer a wild blueberry variety!

What other flavors??
Every time we add a new flavor to our line up, it has to be lab tested and then approved by the Dept of Agriculture! Learning lots!!

🎉A little late with a Happy New Year post, but better late than never!!!
🎉We are so excited for what 2025 has to bring to our Mountain View Farm!!

😊We have lots of plans and appreciate all your support as we got a lot of things off the ground and running last year, in a short amount of time!

🏠We will continue to have our "Cabin at Mountain View Farm available to rent through Airbnb and Vrbo. We have had some great short term renters there for the winter, but we already have reservations booked for the summer! Can't wait to spruce it up a bit and welcome our guests this year!

🕯We are also adding handmade goods to our farm! We have just started Mountain View Farm Candle Co!

🐾We also have Mountain View Farm Goods, which will include homemade dog treats, doggy bandanas, as well as other items in the works that we will share soon like Tallow Lip Balm.

✅️We also will be tying our other handmade business in with Mountain View Farm as "JuliJoy & Co. by Mountain View Farm"

👩‍🌾We will also be working on growing and bettering our vegetable and flower gardens! Hoping to share some gardening tips and advice that work for us!

🐶And last for now, we just added a new puppy to our family! Meet Penny, our Mini Australian Shepherd!

🍁Have you been thinking of coming to Maine to enjoy the beautiful foliage??!! The foliage in Acadia is gorgeous, and we are under an hour away!

✔️Now is your chance to book with us for this fall! We only have a few days left in October that you can book at our cabin!
Monday 21st - Wednesday 23rd
Sunday 27th - Thursday 30th

❤Our cabin will be used as a short term rental from November 1st until April 1st, which we are super excited and thankful for!

👍We will be back taking vacation bookings beginning in April! So if you want to come stay with us this fall, now is the time to book those last few days we have available in October!

It is starting to look a lot like Fall here!! The foliage is really starting to pop, and we aren't even at peak yet!

Our October calendar is almost full at our cabin, but plenty of room still in November!

We have welcomed so many awesome guests in the past few weeks, and we have people booked from all over in the next few weeks! So exciting to learn where all our guests have traveled from to stay at our cabin and explore the area!
We have had guests from Colorado, Texas and New Mexico this past week!! Next week we have guests from Australia!!
So awesome!! ❤

Happy Sunday!
Look what we have for our guests staying with us at "The Cabin" at Mountain View Farm this fall!
Apple Jam from locally sourced apples, just like my Mom used to make it!
We are thankful for our guests and we love to leave a little surprise for them!
Hope they enjoy it!

If you have been thinking of booking our cabin for a visit to Maine, we only have a few open days left in October! November is still awesome to visit and the crowds in Acadia are a lot less! And if you are thinking ahead to December /January, maybe some skiing or snowmobiling, our cabin is heated, so we are available to rent year round!
