This weekend we had the pleasure of welcoming the Down Syndrome Association for Families of Nebraska out to Grace Gate Farm, and it was such a joy. We spent time learning about the different things on the farm, collecting eggs, brushing animals, laughing together, and simply enjoying a slower pace outside.

One of our favorite things about the farm is seeing how animals naturally bring people together. They create space for curiosity, connection, confidence, and joy in a way that feels simple and genuine.

We love opening the farm to groups in our community and creating opportunities for people to experience peace, fun, and belonging through God’s creation. We’re so thankful they came out and spent the day with us. 🤍

Living in God’s creation is fun.

It’s baby animals doing something ridiculous before 8 a.m. Dirt under your nails. Kids running barefoot. Sunsets during chores. Wildflowers growing where no one planted them. Laughing because the donkey stole something again.

The smell before rain.
Chickens greeting the morning.
Fresh tomatoes in the summer.
The quiet after a long day outside.

God didn’t just create a functional world. He created a beautiful one.
