Took a little break from chores and stopped to smell the flowers. 💛

I came across the most beautiful sunflowers covered in busy little bees, and it was the perfect reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple things. 🌻🐝

Nature truly is beautiful. There’s something so special about bees and sunflowers working together. 💛🌻

There’s something incredibly special about raising our animals from the very beginning, putting in the hard work, and knowing exactly where our food comes from.

These chickens were raised right here on Riley Family Farm, from start to finish — with plenty of hard work, long days, love, and care along the way. 🌱🐓

Tonight’s meal is a boneless chuck roast, fresh vegetables, and homemade elderberry syrup made from elderberries we harvested locally. 🫐

The only things from the store were cinnamon sticks and cornstarch! 🙌

There’s something so special about knowing where your food comes from, supporting local farmers, and putting real, wholesome food on the table. ❤️

Now if we could just keep the chickens from helping themselves to our blueberries and elderberries! 😂🐔🫐
