Last weekend we toured the Hinterland Dairy .(between Ft Madison and Donnellson). It was a fun event-Lions Club was cooking breakfast, 4-h kids were helping carry plates, get drinks and I'm sure a multitude of other jobs🙂, Farm Bureau had lots of info stations with prizes, a small dairy calf was penned where kids could pet and interact with, and 2 dairy queens were sharing dairy facts. I think this was their 1st public event? We toured the milk barn, shopped their store and had the best morning. I love small family values on display. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and their communities came out to support them.🙂🙂What a great event!! (P.s.- their icecream and cheeses are awesome!!!)
