*Long post*
It’s been a while since I’ve highlighted these 5 turds!
Denver Grace, (aka, baby dog) is our gentle giant. She’s 1 years old and massive! She’s a standard Bernedoodle and will take you out with her paws (unintentionally) because she uses them to show affection. She has sooo much love to give. I do not believe she has a mean bone in her body. She loves everyone and is just the sweetest soul. I cannot wait to see how she is as a mommy! Her Bobby is her absolute favorite person (Staci Cheng Doll). Her feelings get hurt easily but she couldn’t be a better dog!
Basil Scout, our first rescue. He’s a Brittany Spaniel and is my healer dog. Truly. Grief comes in waves and he’s there through it all. He is a mommy’s boy all the way. He’s also a track star. Friends and family will concur. He could not be trusted off of a lead for a long time. He would run miles upon miles- shutting the country road traffic down for hours, attempting to catch him. He runs from absolutely nothing. Just feels the need to do so. Watching him run through the open fields is like a scene out of a movie. He’s come so far, though. Finally able to enjoy the acres (on our property) and play with his fur siblings (but when he puts his head down and gives you that look, you better hit the toner on the shock collar because in that moment he has forgotten what that shock collar feels like and has lost all commom sense) I will never forget the time Basil ran out the porch door and right as he did, Jarett R. McCarty went to grab him and Tyler hit the shocker. They both hit the deck. Hilarious. (We have had no issues with either of them since 🤣)
Charlee Jo, (aka CJ). She’s a mini bernedoodle but already bigger than she should be. Our first pup after our world turned upside down.. she’s Maddix’s best friend. Honestly, the best behaved one we have. She’s highly intelligent, takes no s**t, and carries herself so well. It’s like she was made for this life. She loves all the animals. Can be left outside while we get our chores done and you don’t have to worry about shenanigans. However, if you give her a toy with stuffing in it.. game over. She’s a princess with an attitude but she’s amazing.
Molly Mae… our labradoodle..according to Tyler Scott, shes just misunderstood. She’s our third rescue (I’m going in order of the pictures)… Molly is not even a year old. She was 7 months old when we got her. I have never owned a dog as bad as her (although Tyler will tell you Kuma was just as bad, If not worse… he’s also delusional) Getting a puppy at 7 months old and not being the owner from birth is rough! Let me tell ya! She has no manners. When you walk in the door, she’s jumping as high as your head and nose punching you with her nose. She doesn’t care who is lying where, if she wants that spot she’s going to sit right on top of you. Personal space isn’t acknowledged. Manners are out the door. She has so much affection but she delivers it in all the wrong ways. She listens to absolutely nothing and she eats everything! Stink bugs, walls, blankets, remotes.. just name it! For some reason, I love her though. But I will never do this scenario again!
Bootyfoot (aka, boots, b***yhole, *I won’t mention the names Tyler uses)… he is a yorkie (supposedly)…he is my literal suction cup. I can’t use the bathroom, shower, move from any room without him being beside me. I can’t leave town without him. (Idk what’s in store for our upcoming cruise. If anyone wants to babysit a one on one leach, let me know!) You all know his story and if you don’t, scroll back through my page to find it. This post is long enough 🤣
He hates the vaccum and has to be put outside when you vacuum or else he goes off and p*es somewhere as if it’s a defensive move to protect me from the vaccum.🤨 make that make sense. He hates the other dogs, except Denver, and if they come near me it’s an issue. If the other dogs are too rowdy, he puts them in their place. He has to go outside and p*e every 10 minutes because he can’t hold it. He has a collapsed trachea and his bark is the most horrific sound and lucky for us he barks constantly. We cannot let him in the playroom unattended becaue he tries to climb the chinchilla cage and I don’t think he realizes how savage Velma is. This dog LOVES farm chores and all the farm animals. However, he is more exhausting than 10 newborns at once. He’s been through the gutter and survived more lives than a cat and I honestly don’t know why he chose me as his person.
People often question how we do it.. and then I look at them and think, how can we not?
