Please just return the cart folks. It’s not only the right thing to do, it gets them out of the way of spaces where disabled people are trying to navigate. My mom has a wheelchair van and we’ve seen it too many times. Abandoned carts in those white lines where the ramp needs to come down. If you are disabled and cannot return, try to ask someone to help you.

I just wrapped up cooking for a three day retreat at beautiful 🌻Three dinners and two lunches, all gluten-free, for a wonderful group of women. I wish I had gotten more photos but that’s the way it goes when you’re workin’ hard! Big thanks to my amazing assistants Whitney and Lisa, and my hubby for holding down the fort while I was away. A few menu highlights: Marsala chicken with roasted garlic & caramelized burst tomatoes (first pic), whipped feta and local honey dip with assorted crackers (next pic), and not pictured: honey dijon salmon, roasted butternut squash & apple soup, goat cheese stuffed dates, summer corn chowder, eggplant parmesan, paleo chicken Cobb salad with homemade blue cheese & honey mustard, and lots of yummy sandwiches. When my clients ask for baked goods I usually say no (unless it’s an easy muffin or banana bread) because I admittedly am NOT a baker. But on Wednesday, I was asked to make these salted honey white chocolate and pistachio cookies. I had to take on the challenge because….SALTED HONEY WHITE CHOCOLATE PISTACHIO COOKIES 🍪 🍪🍪. If you eat fruit, don't throw seeds and kernels in the trash. Wash and dry them. Put them in a box and put it in the car. When you're on the road, throw them through the window in places where there are no trees. Nature itself will take care of them. Or throw it out during a walk or bike ride. This practice has been around for centuries in Asian countries. That is why their fruits are now growing everywhere. I would like to add that I have seen a similar phenomenon in Slovenia. While walking through the forest on the slope of the mountain around the city, I was surprised to find apple trees, apricots, plums and pears growing in the forest. Just pull and eat as much as you want.

On the menu: marinated seared skirt steak with eggs two ways, grain-free biscuits with GF/DF sausage gravy, mini egg frittatas with wild mushrooms and DF parmesan, donut hole and berry skewers, and (not pictured) grain free banana chocolate chip pancakes and fluffy scrambled eggs.

AIP diet day 47: Local ground pork (from Whiffletree Farm) stir fry with sliced zucchini, scallions, water chestnuts, sesame oil, and coconut aminos. I used a little arrowroot to thicken it. SO YUMMY!

A few of my favorite things on this fork: salmon, blackberries, avocado and arugula. I needed a quick and simple dinner tonight which isn’t super easy to come by when you’re AIP. I’ve been kinda killing myself coming up with dinner since I started this thing, but ya know what? It doesn’t have to always be creative and extravagant. A simple salad for the win, with all my good fats, protein, greens, antioxidants, and flavor.

Not so pretty but very yummy! AIP diet day 18 dinner: Pineapple teriyaki chicken made with coconut aminos, fresh pineapple, ginger, arrowroot, and lemon juice. I seared the chicken and some red onions, then added the sauce to thicken. Served over sweet potato noodles (thank you for that magic ) and garnished with fresh scallions.

AIP dinner, night 6: Mediterranean lamb bowls with local meat from Whiffletree Farm. Both have greens, red cabbage, cucumber, fresh mint, sprouts, and avocado. I added tomato, hummus, and goat cheese for the big guy’s portion. Flavorful and filling. This AIP thing isn’t awful, I’m adjusting and feeling more like myself.

Dinner for a wonderful group of ladies—friends for 40 years—at Castleton Meadows Farm this gorgeous evening. On the menu: Fresh tomato and basil bruschetta to start, a mixed green salad accompanied by Dakota bread and garlic butter, and a main course of rosemary garlic pork loin (thanks again to my friends at for the humanely raised meat) with a fresh peach bourbon glaze, honey balsamic roasted sprouts, and creamy garlic chive mashed potatoes. On my new doctor‘s orders, I started the AIP diet on Monday. This is a phased elimination diet and it’s pretty tough. Luckily I’m already familiar with it as I’ve had a few clients on this diet. Here’s what I can’t eat: eggs, gluten/most grains, dairy, legumes, most nuts/seeds, nightshades, sugar/sugar subs, gums and other similar additives. Dinner last night was a chicken, bacon and greens stuffed sweet potato with a side of roasted asparagus. Filling and delicious!

Your meals are amazing. The presentations are a work of art. The birthday meal was exquisite. I loved the peach theme... cold peach soup garnished with edible flowers and the salmon with peach salsa. Thank you!
Aubree is a wonderful chef. She did our 25 wedding party. The food was wonderful. It was all gluten free. She did cold salmon with BBQ sauce, chicken salad with grapes,a quinoa salad with veggies,a kale sale. For appetizers she made 2 dips one was hummus with roasted garlic and the other was with spinach served with cut veggies Goat cheese and crackers. This was done buffet style for 22 guests. I've eaten her food since then and It's always been outstanding.
